Harry Potter was a literal tradition when I was growing up… Every time a new movie would come out, my dad would take me to the theatres. I remember once driving a whole hour to see The Goblet of Fire, only to find out that it was sold out at the entrance. I spent the entire way home sobbing my little heart out, staring at the full moon, thinking about my favorite Animaguses, Remus and Sirius. My dad was quite sympathetic, and he took me a few days later again, when the theatres emptied out a bit.

When I met my boyfriend, I told him he had better be into Harry Potter. He wasn't. So I made us some cupcakes, grabbed a blanket, and plopped us both down on the couch to watch the entire series.
